Who runs this site
Omega Vision is written and maintained by Amjad, a web designer and developer based in Multan, Pakistan, working under the Omega Design brand.
The day job is building things: WordPress themes and commercial plugins, custom web development for clients, and Android apps published on the Google Play Store. That includes plugins sold to other developers and apps that have gone through the full Play Store review process, which is where a lot of the material on this site comes from.
The commercial side of the business lives at omegadesign.io. This site is the other half — the part where the working notes get written up properly and made public.
Why this site exists
Most advice about earning online is written by people who have never done it, and it shows. Articles repeat the same generic steps, quote numbers nobody verified, and skip the parts that actually cost you time and money.
The aim here is narrower and more useful: write about things actually done, check the facts that change, and say plainly when something is an estimate rather than a certainty.
What we cover
- Freelancing. Setting rates that hold up, finding clients, contracts, and what you actually keep after fees and tax.
- Online business. Validating an idea, choosing a model, pricing, and getting the first customers.
- App publishing. Getting an Android app through Play Store review, ranking it, and monetizing it realistically.
- AI and prompts. Getting usable output from AI tools, and being honest about where they fall short.
The tools
Alongside the writing there is a set of free calculators — freelance rates, profit margins, break-even points, ad returns, app revenue and more. They were built because the arithmetic behind these decisions is genuinely useful and genuinely tedious.
All of them run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere, and none of them ask you to sign up.
How we write
- Facts that change — fees, thresholds, platform rules — are checked against current sources before publishing, and we say when something was verified.
- Estimates are labelled as estimates. Calculator output is a starting point for your own numbers, not a prediction.
- We are not lawyers, accountants or financial advisers. Anything touching tax, company registration or contracts is general information, and you should confirm it locally.
- Where we get something wrong, we would rather hear about it and fix it. The contact page is below.
